Indiana Affordable Housing Council
2025-2027 Strategic Plan
The board of directors met in September 2024 to develop a strategic plan to span at least three years, 2025 to 2027. The plan will guide successive boards, empower the management team, and communicate value to persons and organizations associated with affordable housing. This plan should ensure the organization is on the right path and seizing opportunities for affordable and workforce housing.
Our Mission: To expand affordable and workforce housing in Indiana.
ADVOCATE
We will…
- Maintain the relationships with Legislative and State Agencies to monitor and influence housing.
- Engage members in advocacy and their support at the annual Legislative Reception.
- Lead efforts to engage with allied organizations with interests in affordable housing.
INFORM
We will…
- Elevate public understanding thru PR Campaigns.
- Improve brand strength of IAHC thru newsletters, publications, website and social media.
- Become the source of housing trends, host annual housing forecast and legislative agenda.
CONNECT
We will…
- Host annual Indiana Housing Conference with golf outing, mixers, and awards.
- Grow membership by improving and promoting value.
- Invest in the technology necessary to facilitate opportunities for members to network and learn.
- Explore opportunities to engage more stakeholders.
